Flashes is a student short film about two college students who get pulled over for speeding and try to get themselves out of trouble by understating their guilt and loss. Designer Ethan Sinconis came up with the idea of foreshadowing the entire film in ten seconds by having the type itself turn into police sirens.

For the end titles, Sinconis returned to the unique idea of the type acting as police sirens and made the credits flash in red, blue, and back to white again.
